The Secret about SECRET KNOWLEDGE

January 20, 2025

Have you ever wondered about life great Mysteries. I remember being in grade five, when our teacher, in one lesson on ancient civilizations, mentioned that at one time there was a great library in Alexandria Egypt (3rd century BC) that was purported to contain all the secret knowledge of the known world. Our teacher went on to tell us that this library was burnt down, destroyed and all that secret knowledge was now lost forever. At that moment, I experienced a profound inner sadness which came over me. I immediately felt a loss, the realization that now I would not be able to find out about these great mysteries. At that time in grade 5, I didn’t think about much, and was actually surprised by this feeling that, like a wave, flowed through me. It took many years, as I was 9 in grade 5, until I was 24, that again I felt this urge, and began my search for the great Mysteries.
As this is not meant to be autobiographical, but a statement to gain understanding for those also searching for Secret Knowledge.

Little do people know, that knowledge has a qualitative quality, and comes under certain group of laws. These laws are in fact, part of the secret that’s withheld from ordinary scholastic investigations. One of these laws is similar to the law that rules the accumulation of money, or world financial holdings. Yes, there are laws that condition money too. Though knowledge appears readily available, only a certain number of people can be the custodians of secret knowledge (Gupta-Vidya). If you put 1 + 1 together, then you may understand why wealth is so unevenly divided.

You may argue; look at all the books, google, Wikipedia, YouTube etc., which are filled with so many varieties of knowledge, some of it maybe secret knowledge. What is readily available is not secret knowledge, though some of the authors, or presenters may claim it is. For instance, there are many claims as to the real secret method the pyramids were built. Yet, so far, there is no consensus, because they all don’t really know. There are excellent books that give hints and touch esoteric knowledge, but what is written in texts is exoteric. There are some texts that use mystic language that point to esoteric knowledge, but are an enigma except to initiates who can read that which the symbolic language hides. Also, what was once secret knowledge in the past is no longer secret knowledge in the present. For instance, before yoga became popular, few people knew about the chakras and what they represented. Today, the knowledge of the existence of the chakras, and their general purpose is very widespread. Yet, there is still a great deal of secret knowledge hidden about the chakras. For instance, each chakra is conditioned by a particular deity and mantra. Why, what does this mean, and why?

The Buddha said there are ‘two truths’; the expedient or relative, and absolute truth. The expedient or relative truth exists in relation to one’s level of spiritual awakening. As one makes progress on the Path of Return, their understanding of truth will change. Absolute truth can only be experienced when one has attained enlightenment, when one is an Arhat, Muni, Master of Wisdom, having past the Fourth Initiation, and Fifth Initiation. To stay in line with this idea of two truths, there are two types of Secret Knowledge, and some broad examples are listed below:

  1. External secret knowledge
  2. Internal secret knowledge

1.External secret knowledge

  • Secret history of humanity
  • True knowledge of certain symbols/rituals/herbs
  • Location of Secret Brotherhoods
  • Secret application of sound (to create or destroy)
  • The knowledge of the different lives/entities on the inner planes

2.Internal secret knowledge

  • Esoteric Psychology (multiplicity of human ego)
  • Means of the possible inner evolution of consciousness
  • Relationship between A and B
  • Application of sound/mantra and mudras (cause instant effects)
  • Manipulation of Shakti (transform negative substance on the inner planes)

If you are unprepared for it, secret knowledge can be starring you in the face, and you wouldn’t even recognize it.

What does it mean, being unprepared for it (secret knowledge)?

As I mentioned before, real secret knowledge, is guarded by certain occult laws, and if these laws are brokens by some zealous aspirant trying to force their way in, they will pay an occult price. An example of this appears in the character of Glyndon, the aspirant in the story of Zanoni (Zanoni, by Bulwer Lytton, Saunders and Otley, 1842). He ignores his teacher’s directions, was found out, and cast out of the school, after which he is haunted by a foul apparition that terrifies him, not allowing him to sleep, almost driving him mad. Eventually, with the help of Zanoni, he receives some helpful guidance. Also, the disciple actually can have a karmic link with certain knowledge. Without realizing this fact, and you try to learn some other occult knowledge, you can be barred from it, because it is not the correct path for you.
The disciple must achieve a certain level of purity, which means, his/her bodies have been transformed, where negative substance of the lower sub-planes has been pushed out and matter of the higher sub-planes has been built in. Thus, the essence, one’s individuality, has achieved a degree of inner liberation, and has separated from the lower personality qualities. A true center of awareness, aligned to the Soul on its own plan, has been achieved. Then stage by stage, the disciple enters into the stream of Secret Knowledge as it is revealed, step-by-step.
Many aspirants get confused between the lower and higher occult or esoteric teachings. There are numerous pseudo-occult organizations that today perform rituals and initiations as part of their meeting agendas. Symbols, hard gestures, and a certain knowledge of the basics of the teachings they ascribe to must be understood in order to past through a ceremonial initiation. Such initiations are external, and are not real initiations in light of the inner initiations. The inner initiations result in an entering into a new field of inner experiences, and challenges, that result in definite knowledge, much of which you cannot find in books. At a more advanced initiation, you enter into the occult brotherhood, where, relative to your occult karma and service, those mysterious immortal Great Lives that are generally known as the Adepts and Masters of the Wisdom, enters into your consciousness. When your vibration is aligned to theirs, then they communicate with you, and as you make further progress, they assign work for you to do on behalf of the inner ashram. When this happens, you enter into the deeper secret knowledge. But this knowledge, generally cannot be shared with the public, only used within the ashram. For instance, when my teacher (RN – see the book, Living on the Inner Edge) was given a mantra and the tonal keys by one of the Masters, the mantra could not be shared readily, only by the close group members at that time. Today, 46 years later, I have only been allowed to pass on this mantra when directed by the Master R to do so. In all these 46 years, less than 20 people have been worthy to know this mantra. Why? It is truly secret knowledge.

  1. It links you to the inner ashram of the Master R, and to him
  2. Initially, it links you to the periphery of the ashram, until you prove yourself, then you are allowed a closer relationship.
  3. It allows you to understand more about the science of mantrayana, applying first and fifth ray, its schools, and the science of mantra that is not written books.
  4. It allows you to chant and connect inwardly with associate mantras of the school, and the influence they bring.
  5. If you are not initiated by an esoterically qualified instrument of the inner Ashram, and chant a mantra of choice, generally the mantra has to be chanted many times (japa) to get some real feeling. When you’re linked to the mantra by a true instrument of the inner ashram, only a few chants are necessary to get response.
  6. You soon learn about deities, as you begin to experience the deity, the one who is an expression of the mantra you have been initiated with.
  7. Generally, an aspirant is not initiated into an esoteric mantra discipline unless they are preparing for the grueling process of initiation (2nd or 3rd).
  8. You soon learn that mantrayana is the true sacred science.
  9. This sacred science is governed by strict laws, which you soon learn are actually, the laws of that Great Life whose aura you enter when you chant, and the inner ashram which also connected to the same deity.

Secret knowledge is transformative, and can change one’s perspective of the world and oneself. Search intently, and when you come across something you don’t understand, don’t pass it by, ponder over and over until the Light of Understanding dawns and illuminates the mind.
